Funk-O-Matic offers three options for live performance:
1.) An All Original, LIVE Showcase--perfect for concerts, special events, outdoor festivals etc. Funk-O-Matic is happy to perform as a headliner or as an opening act. The original showcase requires production support. Sound and lights must be provided by the purchaser. Musicians: 4-8 depending on budget. For the original, live showcase F-O-M usually adds a rapper, female vocalist, second keyboard and saxophone to the core group. Package prices vary according to mileage/distance of travel, shipping of instruments etc. Travel expenses and lodging must be provided by the purchaser or included in the budget. Length of Show: 50 minutes
2.) Nightclub Showband. This is usually a 4-6 piece band which performs cover music and just a few originals. The nightclub show is predominately an "Old-School Funk Review" which promises a packed dance floor. Production is usually provided by the club, however we do have P.A. and lights available to travel/tour within the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Length of Show: 3 sets, 55 minutes each.
3.) Combination Cover and Original Showband. We bring in the big guns, extra musicians, the rapper, female vocalist, robotic lighting, huge P.A. system. Perfect for conventions, large weddings, outdoor festivals. Duration of Show: 3 sets, 55 minutes each.
